Introduction

By default, the Dashboard displays all primary columns and data for "All sessions." In addition to "All sessions" and "Deleted sessions," Custom Dashboards allow for SessionAdmins and TenantAdmins to customize & save dashboard views:

There are two types of columns that can be displayed on the Dashboard > "All Sessions" page:


Primary columns: System default columns (30) of "All Sessions" data.


Custom columns: If your company has a Session Naming Convention used to create sessions, you can now show/hide those columns of data into separate/parsed columns on the "All Sessions" page.

Setting up a new dashboard

  1. Navigate to the Dashboard > "All Sessions" page
  2. Locate the "All sessions (default)" dropdown menu
    • Here, you will see that "All sessions" is the current, default display
    • You can also access "Deleted sessions" here to search for or restore any deleted sessions
  3. Next, find the gear/setup icon and select to begin setup
  4. In the dropdown menu, select Create new dashboard



5. In the setup menu, you will can see the different ways to begin customizing your new dashboard

6. First, you want to be sure and Enter title for new dashboard



Primary Columns


7. Once you have entered a title to the new dashboard, you can proceed to the next section to show/hide columns. By default, all Primary Columns will be selected for display. 


In this section, you can search for columns or scroll up/down the full list to select (show) or deselect (hide) the primary columns. You can also select all to show or clear all columns to hide for quick, multi-select/deselect.



Custom Columns

If you have a Session Naming Convention, you will also have the ability to show hide custom columns. Switch over to the Custom Columns tab to select (show) or deselect (hide) the custom columns.



You can also move/re-arrange the Custom Columns. In the Custom Columns tab, you will see the option to select all, clear all, and set order when two or more custom columns are selected. 


If custom columns are re-ordered, please click Save when ready.



The set order functionality is not currently available for Primary Columns.


8. Once you have selected the columns to show/hide, please find and select Save to confirm. When saved, you can now find the new dashboard in the Dashboard dropdown menu:



9. Find and select the new, custom dashboard to view:



Set dashboard as default

The "All sessions" page is the default view. Once you have created and saved a custom dashboard, you can change the default view when returning to the Dashboard > "All Sessions" page to your preference:

  1. Select the "All Sessions" dropdown menu and click the title of your custom dashboard
  2. With your custom dashboard selected, please then find and click the gear/settings icon. In this menu, you can:
    • Create a new dashboard
    • Edit dashboard
    • Set dashboard as default
    • Delete dashboard
  3. Please choose the option to Set dashboard as default. When set as default, you can go to any page and return to the Dashboard to see that the default view has been updated:




Edit dashboard

The "All sessions" and "Deleted sessions" are system presets and cannot be modified. You can however edit any custom dashboard(s) that you have created:


  1. Select the custom dashboard you wish to edit
  2. With your custom dashboard selected, please then find and click the gear/settings icon. In this menu, you can:
    • Create a new dashboard
    • Edit dashboard
    • Set dashboard as default
    • Delete dashboard
  3. Please choose the option to Edit dashboard
  4. The Edit dashboard menu will appear and functions like the dashboard setup. In this menu, you can:
    • Edit the title
    • Show/hide columns
      • Primary
      • Custom*
        • Re-order custom columns*
      • Save changes
  5. Once you have finalized any changes, please Save 



You can edit a custom dashboard at any time.


Delete dashboard

The "All sessions" and "Deleted sessions" are system presets and cannot be deleted. You can however delete any custom dashboard(s) that you have created:


  1. Select the custom dashboard you wish to delete
  2. With your custom dashboard selected, please then find and click the gear/settings icon. In this menu, you can:
    • Create a new dashboard
    • Edit dashboard
    • Set dashboard as default
    • Delete dashboard
  3. Please choose the option to Delete dashboard
  4. A popup message will prompt to confirm:
    • Select close to cancel
    • Select continue to confirm
  5. Once confirmed to delete, the dashboard will no longer be listed to view in the Dashboard dropdown. 



You cannot restore deleted dashboards but have the ability to create a new dashboard at any time.
