For external users, please add by Inviting Users to a Session. This process allows limited access to only the sessions a user has been invited to.


For internal users, please proceed with the steps below for adding one or multiple new users as a Tenant Admin.

User Roles


This information is helpful when adding new users, determining a user role based on the level of visibility you wish to give this new user. Once a new user has been added, their role can be updated at any time by a tenant admin.


You must be a Tenant Admin in order to add new users to a tenant. Managing user access is handled by tenant admins to protect the data housed in your company's tenant.




Adding a New User



  1. Click Dashboard > Users
  2. Click Add
  3. Enter the required information for a new user
    • First Name*
    • Last Name*
    • Email*
    • Role*
    • Generic ID (optional)






Adding Multiple Users (Bulk Upload)



  1. Click Dashboard > Users
  2. Click Upload
  3. Download the CSV template
  4. Open the CSV template file
  5. Enter the required fields
    • First Name*
    • Last Name*
    • Email*
    • Role*
    • Generic ID (optional)
  6. Save the document
  7. Return to Talonview
  8. Attach the updated CSV template


For Role Enter TenantAdmin, SessionAdmin, or User based on the level of user rights and visibility you wish for each user to have. For admin roles, please enter the role type without any spaces (ex. TenantAdmin).


This action will auto-upload all of the users included in the CSV file. 

If there are errors in the upload, please check your template for any spacing issues and even hidden spaces in the first and last name, email, and role fields.
