What's New

  • Advanced Filters allow admin users the ability to apply filters while searching in the dashboard—returning results grouped by one or multiple components of a session title.

Admin users can...

  • Search the dashboard by session title
  • Apply one or multiple filters based on session title

- You must be an admin user to access the dashboard

- Advanced Filters will correspond with your company's Standard Naming Convention

For example, admin users can filter by client, region, market, site id, project, etc.

Using Advanced Filters in the Dashboard

Step 1 Navigate to the Dashboard > All Sessions page

Step 2 Adjust the date range accordingly.

  • Example 9/28/2020—12/7/2021

Step 3 Click the Advanced Filters button. A popup window will appear with available filters.

Within the Advanced Filters menu, you can search or browse the available filters. Depending on the setup of your company's naming convention, the selection and quantity of each option may vary.

If you wish to search for a filter, you can do so by typing into the search bar within the advanced filters menu.

  • In this example, we have many filters available and we can search to find the Market filter.

Step 4 Select one, multiple, or all available filters to apply to your dashboard search. You can also clear filters here.

In this example, we applied the Market filter.

  • With the Market filter applied, we then also selected 2 of 7 available market options.

  • With these filters applied, the dashboard will return results for all sessions in these two markets and created during the specified date range above

Step 5 To apply, please toggle the Disabled button to Active. This action will apply and save the filters applied. The filters will retain on the dashboard as you navigate to other pages in Talon.

Final Step When you are satisfied with the applied filters, click any area outside of the Advanced Filters popup menu to close. The filters will retain in your dashboard search.

Tip The Advanced Filters button will appear with a glow when filters are applied.

Repeat steps 1-5 to adjust or update filters.
