Introduction

Pages can be uploaded to a sessions gallery and tagged to a checklist. Desktop users can associate (tag) items to form questions. Depending on the capture method, the process may differ and is different than the process on the mobile app.

Form questions have various statuses that can also be changed by a SessionAdmin on the desktop:

No Action
  • The form question is unanswered
  • The form question is not tagged to any page
Submitted
  • The form question has been answered
  • The form question has been tagged to a page
Approved
  • The form question has been answered
  • The form question has been tagged to a page
  • The form question, answer, and tagged page has been Approved by a SessionAdmin
Rejected
  • The form question has been answered
  • The form question has been tagged to a page
  • The form question, answer, and tagged page has been Rejected by a SessionAdmin

Read about status filters here: Using the Status Filter (for Desktop)

If a question does not necessarily require a photo or video, please select the drawing board (whitepage) in the gallery. With this page selected, you can edit the form answer, select the appropriate answer and save. This will update the form question status to Submitted.

Please note that there is a 1:1 ratio for associating/tagging items to a checklist - only one page (image, video, or document) can be associated/tagged to a single form question.

If a page is tagged and rejected, SessionAdmins can provide comments/feedback and user(s) can replace the tag. This activity history is stored with each form question:

    - Task Insights (for Mobile)]

Media share

In most cases, mobile users will upload pages (images, videos, or documents) to the session gallery and tag pages to form questions while completing their scope of work. If there are items to modify or tag on the desktop, users can also tag pages to form questions on the desktop.

Step 1 Select the page (image, video, or document) you wish to associate from the gallery so that it is displayed in the main view:

Step 2 Locate the question that you wish to tag with the selected page. Click the pencil (Edit Answers) button.

Step 3 Select the applicable answer and then the green checkmark to save.

Once saved, the Form Answer status is then updated to Submitted and the selected page has been tagged to the question. When navigating or further working in the session, you can click on the form question to view the tagged page.

You can also remove an answer and its association by selecting the trash can icon.

This action will also reset the question as if you have yet to answer or associate any items)

Live capture

If you are recording a live video, you will follow the same process when relevant items are presented. During a live call, you can snap photos, turn on the mobile camera flash, and record videos. While working through a checklist, you can record the mobile user's feed and tag areas in the video, associating that timestamp with checklist items. Note: You can tag multiple areas in a single video recording.

Once the recording has stopped, the video is loaded to the session gallery and that video will now be associated to the checklist item and tagged at the point of submitting your answer (step 6). You do not have to include step 7 during a live call, as you can complete this step at a later time.

Step 2 Select the page (image, video, or document) you wish to associate from the gallery so that it is displayed in the main view.
  • If you are recording a live video, you can select a form question to begin associating that portion of the video with a single checklist item.

Step 3 Locate the question that you wish to tag with the selected page. Select the applicable answer. Once selected, the Form Answer status is then updated to Submitted and the selected page has been tagged to the question. When navigating or further working in the session, you can click on the form question to view the tagged page.

You can also remove an answer and its association by selecting the trash can icon.
